« Subtil » is the title of Mane’s first album, the autobiography of a career and the maturing of a true artist. As desired by the producer, this album was recorded in « live » conditions, in order to preserve the authenticity and emotion inherent in fado music. Each fado song had to be sung in one, complete take, and the entire album had to be completed in three days without any touch ups. Mane was accompanied by two fado guitarists : Nel Garcia and Samuel Cabral, who came from Portugal at her request. She combined her life experience and vocal qualities to meet the challenge of her first album. And so, on February 26th, 27th and 28th of 2003, « subtil » came alive in SYSMO under the direction of Dominique Samarq. Now you can discover this album of new and classic fado songs.
